Thanks to James O’Brien and the outstanding Port Houston operations and security teams, as well the U.S. Coast Guard team, we witnessed the precision and scale behind one of the world’s busiest ports up close (the 5th ranked U.S. container port and the largest Gulf Coast container port, handling 74% of U.S. Gulf Coast container traffic!)
From towering cranes moving thousands of containers to the coordinated flow of 12,000–14,000 trucks daily, every detail was a masterclass in logistics, strategy, and operational excellence, including managing a complex and resilient cybersecurity posture at this scale.
